The High Falls district on the northern edge of downtown, just outside the Inner Loop, is being remade to attract the same demographic. Since several small businesses call the area home, you can live and work in close proximity each to the other. The morning commute cant get much easier. Not to mention not having to clean off your car to get to work on a cold winter morning. East of downtown lies the eclectic cultural area roughly encompassing University, East, Park and Monroe Avenues.
