A place for military move
As soon as you know you will be moving you should make an appointment with your local Personal Property Shipping Office if you will not be doing a do it yourself move. If your military moving will be done on a do it yourself basis you will have to make your own plans. You should immediately inform you landlord that you will be moving. You can then search for new housing in the area where your next duty station will be. You can start doing this about 3 months before your move.
