Packrat thoughts
More than anything, what is the hardest chore but the moving of all that stuff. Chairs, beds, tables, and so on all have to go from the old place to the new one. Getting them there usually requires a lot of packing, and then there is the issue of how to actually transport everything. Years ago, moving everything would have required finding a friend with a truck or paying for one of two other moving options. People could take their chances dealing with a moving company, which takes a lot of work out of the equation.
